Felt Pouch

This unique handmade felt pouch is crafted from 100% wool felt, inspired by the soft, natural colours of the North Sea coastline around Aberdeen.

Embroidered on the front is a Triskelion motif, stitched with beautiful mustard-coloured vintage 100% wool yarn made in Finland. A crocheted handle, created using the Tunisian crochet technique, adds both character and practicality.

In Celtic traditions, the Triskelion (or Triskele) is an ancient symbol of three interconnected spirals radiating from a central point. Representing movement, balance, and the cycle of life, it reflects the Celtic reverence for the power of three—such as land, sea, and sky; past, present, and future; or birth, life, and death. It is a timeless emblem of growth, harmony, and continuous change.

These little pouches are what my friend Katie affectionately calls "3D doodles"—small, tactile works of textile art, each one completely unique.
